LANGUAGE NOTE: In French, the verb 'avoir' (to have) is used to express age. So where the English say 'I am 15' or 'I am 15 years old', the French would say 'J'ai 15 ans'. (I have 15 years). They do not miss out the word for years, and they do not say 'old'.
