Reall Languages

Games, activities, resources and links for the classroom.
In the English section, there is a synthetic phonics scheme and resources for Early Years teachers. There are also resources such as spelling lists, with linked crosswords and flash games, which would be suitable in the upper primary, secondary or adult classroom. Lifeline English and Lifeline Maths were written initially to support SEN learners, but they are also useful for younger learners. The history page has links to excellent sites which provide rich resources for teachers and learners. The grammar pages give a clear overview of the essentials of English grammar.
The languages pages are designed to assist vocabulary acquisition for learners of any age. Topics in each language are supported by flash games which can be used on individual computers or as starter activities on the interactive whiteboard. They should be tackled in the order in which they appear, since they increase in difficulty - the first ones demanding simply a recognition of the foreign word, and the final ones, the ability to write the foreign word accurately.
