This is a fast-moving programme that delivers results.  It relies on interleaved learning: previous learning is constantly revisited as new sounds and spellings are introduced. Phrantic phonics is easy to deliver and fun for children, all of whom experience success.  Ideally it should be taught by the class teacher to a whole class in short sessions twice daily. It works very well with mixed age groups.   The group of children in this video consists of YR and 1.
